{"id":61856,"date":"2025-06-24T14:37:10","date_gmt":"2025-06-24T12:37:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ravnopravnost.gov.rs\/?p=61856"},"modified":"2025-08-15T10:18:25","modified_gmt":"2025-08-15T08:18:25","slug":"commissioner-donated-computer-equipment-to-rural-women-s-associations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ravnopravnost.gov.rs\/en\/commissioner-donated-computer-equipment-to-rural-women-s-associations\/","title":{"rendered":"Commissioner Donated Computer Equipment to Rural Women\u2019s Associations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Brankica Jankovi\u0107, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, presented computer equipment to associations of women from rural areas at the House of Culture in the village of Prva Kutina, near Ni\u0161ka Banja, as part of the project \u201cEmpowerment of Women in Rural Areas of Serbia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The technical equipment was provided based on a previously conducted survey on the needs of the associations, with the aim of improving their work, making the implementation of educational and advocacy activities more efficient, as well as enhancing administrative and project organization.<\/p>\n<p>The equipment was awarded to:<\/p>\n<p>Irena Jankovi\u0107, from the association Ethno Magic (Etno \u010carolija) from Ni\u0161ka Banja, in Prva Kutina<\/p>\n<p>Ivana Mileti\u0107, from the association RU\u017d in Rekovac<\/p>\n<p>Desanka Pavlovi\u0107, representing the association Hardworking Vlach Women (Vredne Vlajne) from Rudna Glava near Majdanpek<\/p>\n<p>Karolina Stamenkovi\u0107, from the association Lu\u017enica Handicrafts (Lu\u017eni\u010dke Rukotvorine) in Babu\u0161nica<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWomen from rural areas are a special strength of our society \u2013 they possess knowledge and experience that is not acquired at universities, but passed down through generations.
