The aim of this initiative is to break down prejudices about the abilities of persons with disabilities and to highlight the importance of addressing the problems they face in daily life. \u201cOur personal characteristics must not be a reason for unequal treatment \u2014 whether in sports, at work, at the counter, on public transport, or at the doctor\u2019s office,\u201d said Brankica Jankovi\u0107, the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality.<\/p>\n<p>At Nikola Pa\u0161i\u0107 Square, a booth was set up where citizens and marathon participants received informational materials about the concept and types of discrimination, as well as ways to recognize and prevent it.
