The Terezin Declaration, which was signed by 46 countries in June 2009, was created with the aim of correcting the economic injustices that followed the Holocaust against Jews and other victims of Nazi persecution in Europe, as well as preserving the memory of the Holocaust for future generations. Serbia officially supported this declaration, although it is not among the signatory countries. The conference was attended by numerous high-ranking statesmen and representatives of international organizations, including Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State, V\u011bra Jourov\u00e1, Vice-President of the European Commission, as well as the delegation of the Republic of Serbia, and its main topic concerns the activities undertaken by the signatory states in order to implement the goals stipulated by the Terezin Declaration.<\/p>\n<p>On the previous day, November 2, an international conference was held of Special Envoys and Coordinators for the Fight against Anti-Semitism (SECCA), of which Jankovi\u0107 is a member, organized by the World Jewish Congress. The main topics of this expert conference were how the company Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram, plans to fight against growing anti-Semitism on the networks, what are the forms in which anti-Semitism is manifested, as well as what are the competencies of state institutions in suppressing hate speech in public space.<\/p>\n\n ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, Brankica Jankovi\u0107, participated in two international conferences in Prague dedicated to preserving the memory of the Holocaust and the fight against anti-Semitism.
