{"id":41553,"date":"2021-09-10T12:32:38","date_gmt":"2021-09-10T10:32:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ravnopravnost.gov.rs\/?p=41553"},"modified":"2021-09-10T18:28:24","modified_gmt":"2021-09-10T16:28:24","slug":"commissioner-at-the-osce-conference-in-prague","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ravnopravnost.gov.rs\/en\/commissioner-at-the-osce-conference-in-prague\/","title":{"rendered":"Commissioner at the OSCE Conference in Prague"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Equality Commissioner Brankica Jankovic participated in the two-day final conference of the OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum on &#8220;Promoting Comprehensive Security, Stability and Sustainable Development through Women&#8217;s Economic Empowerment&#8221;, held in Prague.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing the participants, the Commissioner presented the achieved level of gender equality, especially in the political field, which also affects the economic empowerment of women, and which is implemented through various programs. &#8220;Serbia is working and making progress, but more measures are needed in order to achieve full equality of women and men, and we will continue to work on that even more efficiently, because women should achieve goals in all spheres of life, and everything that is done for a better position of women is done for the whole society, its security, stability and sustainable development,&#8221; Jankovi\u0107 emphasized.<\/p>\n<p>On the sidelines of the meeting, the Commissioner spoke with the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde, the Chairperson of the OSCE Permanent Council, Ulrika Funered, the President of the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Marisa Xuereb, and the OSCE High Representative for National Minorities, Kairat Abdrakhmanov.
