Addressing participants and participants in the &#8220;Tolerance and Non-discrimination&#8221; session, the Commissioner highlighted the impact of the education system, which plays an important role in shaping the attitudes of children and young people.<\/p>\n<p>The sensitization and preparation of children to build a just and tolerant society in which everyone, regardless of differences, has the right to a dignified life, is one of the highly positioned goals of the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, the Commissioner emphasized, presenting a series of activities undertaken by the institution in order to prevent discrimination, promote equality, as well as education of children and youth, among which are &#8220;Youth Panel \u2013 Discrimination Busters&#8221;, moot court in the area of \u200b\u200bnon-discrimination for students of all Law Schools throughout Serbia, a prize competition themed: cross-generation solidarity, open for students from all schools in Serbia to apply, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Commissioner Jankovi\u0107 also pointed out that the institution&#8217;s activities include children and young people from pre-school age to college, and concluded that it is of the utmost importance that new generations start to learn how to respect diversity and build a tolerant society.<\/p>\n ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality Brankica Jankovi\u0107 participated at the OSCE Human Dimension Implementation Meeting, which was organized in Warsaw.
