Commissioner for Protection of Equality Brankica Jankovic and Austrian Ambassador Nikolaus Lutterotti met to discuss continous, good cooperation of the institutions for protection of human rights and ways to improve the equality and non-discrimination during the pandemic.

Commissioner highlighted that two countries are connected by cooperation and bond, especially having in mind that great number of Serbian citizens live and work in Austria. She pointed out extremely good cooperation with Austrian institutions for protection of equality and stated that common values of our two countries – equality, equity, solidarity and protection of sensitive social groups gain additional value in these times of crisis.

Ambassador Lutterotti extended his support to the work of Commissioner for Protection of Equality in further strenghtening of tolerant society and stressed the important role of the institution in achieved progress in areas of protection of human rights and respecting the principles of equality and non-discrimination in all areas of life.
