Tatjana Jokanović has been employed by the office of the Commissioner for Protection of Equality since March 2016, and as of December 2016, she has been working as an Acting Assistant to the Commissioner. She gained her previous work experience at the position of Head of Division for regulations and analysis of material and financial operations of the Budget Administration of the Department of Budget and Finance of the Ministry of Defense. She worked for six years at the Ministry of Diaspora, where she was responsible for monitoring the implementation of international treaties and European Union law in the Department for status issues of diaspora, as well as for the implementation of the project aimed at the inclusion of diaspora in the process of European integration of Serbia. Before that, she had worked in the projects of the European Agency for Reconstruction in the field of reform of health insurance system, providing legal and administrative suport to those projects.
Tatjana Jokanović was born in 1968 in Belgrade. She finished VI Belgrade High School, graduated from the Faculty of Law in Belgrade and passed her bar examination. She speaks English and uses Italian language. She is married, having a son Djordje and a daughter Katarina.
Mirjana Kecman has been working at the office of the Commissioner for Protection of Equality since August 2015. Previously, she worked as a Head of Department of Administrative Affairs in the field of social protection at the Division of Family Care and Social Welfare in the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs. For more than two decades, she gained her work experience in the Republicn Secretariat for Legislation, then at the position of Assistant Commissioner for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia, as a member of the Commission for asylum and as a lawyer. She participated in working groups for drafting laws, including the Law on Refugees, the Law on Administrative Procedure, the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Social Protection, as well as bylaws issued based on the Law on Asylum.
Mirjana Kecman was born in 1970 in Pula. She graduated from the Faculty of Law in Belgrade and passed her bar examination. She speaks English language.
