Commissioner for the Protection of Equality has received recognition in the category of republic authorities, which is awarded by Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, in cooperation with the OSCE Mission, on the occasion of International Right to Know Day.
The acknowledgment was presented by the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Protection of Personal Information, Milan Marinovic, on behalf of a committee composed of the presidents of UNS and NUNS news organizations, a representative of the academic community, a representative of the NGO Coalition for Freedom of Access to Information of Public Importance.
Along with Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, recognitions also went to the District Attorney Office in Obrenovac in the category of judicial authorities, the City Administration for Environmental Protection of Novi Sad in the category of local public authorities and the Ministry of State Administration and Local Self-Government for the best Fact Sheet.
